Kyoto Prize at Oxford postponed until May 2021

After careful consideration, and in light of the ongoing coronavirus developments, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the 2020 Kyoto Prize at Oxford by a full year.

The postponement will enable us to provide the experience that the Laureates, guests and participants expect and deserve in a safe environment.

The Inamori Foundation have decided to delay the annual celebration of the Kyoto Prize by one year as well. This means that there will be no new Kyoto Prize Laureates in 2020, and the Kyoto Prize will take a full year break.

We look forward to celebrating the achievements of Professor Ching Tang, Professor James Gunn and Ms Ariane Mnouchkine for the fourth edition of the Kyoto Prize at Oxford on 11–12 May 2021.
